FAQ's and How to Order Your Custom Wood Furniture and Decor

How do I order something from you?

We love to make a personal connection with each customer to assure you are getting exactly what you want. To do so, we ask that you submit a message through the CONTACT page to get your order started.

How will I receive communication once my message has been sent?

In forming your message, you will have given us your phone number or email, which will be used solely for back and forth communication for your order. We will respond by text or email to your inquiry. If you want to place a larger order, we may definitely meet or discuss over phone call the details.

Will I receive updates throughout the building process?

Of course! We will certainly keep you updated on the building process. We will message you at least 1x/week with an update, and if we have any questions throughout the process to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. Any updates will be sent via text message.

I am interested in a piece but am unsure if it will fit my budget?

Our site lists the starting prices for our custom items. If you are concerned about cost, please contact us with your price range and the custom details you want in your order, and we can let you know the various custom options available at your price range. If you want something that is not currently on our site, during the design process, we will do our best to discuss the prices of different designs with you.

Many items on our site will have no additional costs, but some added design aspects, changes in size, paint choices, and finishes do require a small up-charge to cover additional labor and material costs.

What payment methods are accepted?

At this time, we only accept payment through paypal, venmo, or cash. Further payment details will be discussed after we have finalized your order.

What are the payment terms?

For those paying through paypal or venmo, a 50% down-payment is asked to initiate your order. The remaining 50% will be completed at time of pick up. If you are paying by cash only, all of it may be paid upon pick up.

What is the expected wait time after I order?

The wait time can vary depending upon order demand, season, and what you are ordering. Also keep in mind that there may be many orders in front of yours and that some things simply take time. Many things are also completed outside and during some parts of the year, weather can be a factor. Once an order has been initiated, our average wait times are between 2-4 weeks for larger items, and 1-2 for smaller items. A more precise wait time will be provided upon completing your order, and we will keep you updated along the process.

What options are available for customization?

We seek to bring your vision to life, therefore, every aspect of your order is fully customizable, such as the dimensions, look, wood used, stain or paint color, and finish.

Depending on the piece, we can use pine, oak, cedar, and cypress. An additional fee will be added to your total for non-pine woods.

For stains, paints, and finishes, most of our pieces are fully customizable with any color and look you want. If you want to see samples first, we can of course send you pictures before you make your choice.

If you want to know if we can do something, just ask, and we'll do our best to make something you will love.

Can I send pictures to show the type of design I want to have?

Absolutely! If you want something that you don't see on our website, you saw something nice on Pinterest, or if you want to change an aspect of something we do have and you have a picture of what you like, please send it to us after you have received a text or email back from us.

If you do not have a picture but can describe what you want, we will do our best to design your vision and send that design to you to assure it is what you want.

How do I get my order when it is finished?

Usually, we have our customers come and pick up the order at our location. If you prefer this method, we will tell you exactly where to go when your order is completed. We are in the crossroads area in Cary, NC.

If you live within 10 miles of crossroads, we can deliver to your driveway, especially for larger pieces if you are unable to pick it up. A delivery charge of $2 per mile will be added to your final total.

For shipping. We do ship, but currently we can only ship our smaller items such as the mason jar sconces and coat racks. If you would like an item shipped, we will give you a quote in the ordering process.
